Remote Therapist Service
Remote Therapist Service
PhyxUp Health’s Fully Managed RTM Service includes access to licensed remote therapists. Our remote therapy team monitors, engages, and communicates with onboarded patients on your behalf, allowing your clinic to generate RTM billable units without adding internal workload.
What the Remote Therapist Handles
- Review patient data, condition updates, and HEP adherence
- Assign and modify Home Exercise Programs (HEPs)
- Communicate with patients via in-app messaging and phone calls
- Report patient conditions, concerns, and trends to your clinic
- Add monitoring time and billable units under RTM CPT codes
All PhyxUp Health remote therapists are licensed in the state where your clinic operates and complete platform-specific onboarding to ensure compliant and effective patient monitoring. To view or confirm a patient’s remote therapist assignment, navigate to the RTM Dashboard and check the Remote Therapist field.
Remote therapists receive standardized training on how to operate the RTM service. However, they can also adapt to each clinic’s specific workflows and preferences. To request customization of the remote therapist workflow, please email
[email protected].
Example requests include:
- Setting specific days or times to call patients
- Creating or standardizing HEP templates
- Requiring primary provider approval before assigning or modifying HEPs
Remote Therapist Reports
During the RTM service, remote therapists may flag patient-related issues or trends that require direct action from the clinic, including:
- Patient communication needs
- Changes in symptoms or reported status
- HEP adjustments that require clinic review or approval (clinic-specific)
When an issue is identified, the remote therapist will submit a report through the platform. Reports are sent to the clinic for review and action, and a copy will also be emailed to the clinic.
